Hydrates well, drys quickly.

This is a very hydrating facial serum. It’s a clear gel like consistency. Smells pretty strong like essential oils. But after it drys I didn’t smell it anymore. Drys quickly. I have only used twice so I’m not sure how well it works for lighting skin spots. It does hydrate the skin. My face felt smooth and refreshed after using and tightened. I don’t really like the smell but it does fade pretty quickly. Kinda pricey, but a little goes a long way.

I have worn sunscreen consistently on my face since I was 18 due to being on Retin A for acne so I think overall I don't have as much sun damage as i could, but I do still have some discolorations on my cheeks which are very light and are easily covered with just a sprinkling of power, but I would love to help minimize them the heck out of there. I'm really ramping up my skincare to try and make my skin are bare faced presentable as I can. this serum is marketed to reduce dark spots. I don't know if it is working per se because I am using various other items, but the I believe combing therapies can help balance the benefits of each to give you all the good effect. The serum absorbs very easily into the skin and doesn't feel heavy or sticky. Within a couple of minutes of application; I usually apply my night cream or moisturizer. I love the feeling of taking care of my skin. I wish I could go back in time and undo some of my past carelessness, but this will help.

The dark spot serum is clear liquid with thick, egg white kind of consistency, unlike thin, watery liquid. It is easy to spread, absorbs fast and leaves skin hydrated. Smells like herbs, I don't like the smell. My skin feels smooth and moisturized after applying the serum. It is gentle on skin, not causing any irritation. I like the fact that the cap was sealed. The first time I opened it, I heard the crispy sound of the plastic ring snapping off the cap. I personally feel it's more hygienic. Good product.
